Just messing with you. Welcome and please do post more! It's one thing to have the good taste to buy and use Becker knives. It's another to have the even better taste to build fire with them!

It was my first Becker too. Followed by the 7 and then a bunch more.

I am also a fan of the Douk Douk.

My first Ka-bar was the Bk-17 , I used to carry it on me every day when I lived in Alaska,
you can get away with carrying a larger knife when you wear a big, warm coat.:D

Right on User27 another Great knife choice

Thank you for sharing User27; two great choices for knives you've got there.

Loves me some BK2 tough love; they can sure take it.

BK 2 is a great stand alone take in the wilderhood blade for general use. I toss a buck 110 or a Gerber Gator blade in the pouch to cover the light stuff.

The BK-2 was my first Becker. It remains mostly unused as after the initial fondling, I decided it was too much knife in a short package. If I want a small chopper, I have the BK-7. My favorite is the BK-15. Welcome to the forum.

Why would you safe queen a BK2? What could you be protecting it from...not like it can break.

I like the blade shape and black on black appearance of the knife, also its made of 1095cv so even though it is some tough stuff any form of water is its kryptonite :D

P.S. I appreciate the comments you guys left on my post , Thank You
