After a couples hours fitting and sanding. Hot waxed the handle and... Ready to complete grinding and sharpen :)

And maybe polish a little more :D... There`s already eyes on it....

How did you attach the handles? Cut the wood piece in half, sandwitch the tang with it and glue together?

We need more pictures of the process!!!!!! :D

^^ I just quoted what was written on the saw blade ;) ^^

The handle is one solid piece of wood and the blade is wedged in the handle with G/Flex epoxy.

Thanks for the kind words...

I'm pretty satisfied. The result is a surprisingly "Tough little bugger".

For whatever was meaning "Super High Vanadium Carbide". The steel takes a great edge and the absence of burr indicates a relatively good hardness and it`s tough, it has an incredible ductility for what I saw, I almost folded the blade to 90° using a vise and there was no deformation after I released it, now that was a good surprise most of the time they bend at some point, but I could feel this one was going to snap if I have pushed it.

And it feels solid while using lots of force on it. I have enough leftover of that blade to make him a big brother :)
