Hello friends, Actually i need a kukri knife for some work in my house. So From where can I get the best kukri ?

Very good knives from Himalayan Imports. There was also one gentleman selling a lot of Kukris for great prices from a collection he inherited.

What kind of work are you needing to do? Khuks come in kinds of shapes and sizes.

I also like the himilayan imports kukris, especially for the price. I've beat mine up clearing brush and accidentally hitting stones. A short time with a file brings it back. I did re shape the handle, but if you wear gloves then it should be comfortable enough.

Edit: I think I'm mistaken, I have a $50 kukri from Atlanta Cutlery. Looking at HI kukris website now tells me that what I have is not a HI. Still made in Nepal and has been good for me.

I'm a big fan of the Beck BK21 for brush clearing
I am not sure how much brush clearing there will be, especially since she this is for;

If it needs to be a Khukri, I would suggest a Himalayan Imports or a Becker BK21/BK4. This would be dependant upon the size/weight needed.

Otherwise, if there is some wiggle room in the pattern, depending on what is needed to be done, I would look at a Huntsman Machete or Bolo Machete in an upgraded alloy.

Well thats good! I can adjust size and thickness of the blade as needed. 8670 will be less costly that CPM 3V. But its an extremely good steel for the task. Its very tough, and holds a good edge. It has held up great in my testing.

A Kiku Matsuda Kukri would be the best in my opinion.
His OU-31 has crazy edge retention.

I think I got mine from khukri palace. I posted a brief review a few months ago.

I get that HI is a great value according to pretty much everyone, but I am glad there are cheaper options that are good. When you’re buying your first it’s hard to have a good reference for what size/style you want.
