From Zero Busse to 2 in one week.

So I went from no Busse knives to owning 2 in one week. I’ve been browsing Busse for a while and decided the FSH is my personal favorite. I bought the camo one because I thought it was a good first choice. It wasn’t so expensive that I wouldn’t be afraid to use it and it would make a good companion until and if-ever I found one that really blew me away. Well, wouldn’t you know it… As soon as I got the camo, one such knife appeared. It’s a FSH with a Sage Crinkle-Coated saber ground finish on the .335” thick blade and a Magnum Textured Black Canvas Micarta Handle. I couldn’t resist. But I like the camo one so much, I'm gonna keep it too.


On another note, I bought the “Grail” knife from Dan Huang. I was a little hesitant because of some of the backlash I read here. But I have to say it was a perfect transaction. It couldn’t have been any better. He was friendly, patient, polite, answered a ton of my questions via email & text and he got the knife here in 1 business day for $15. It was packaged well and was in mint-perfect condition. Total professional. In fact, it was a much better transaction than the dealer provided from which I bought the camo one. Anyway, just thought I’d share my experiences here especially since so many of you knowingly and unknowingly helped me.

Nice start! Don't be afraid to scar them up! Great users!
I'm a fuzz confused on the "grail" part- those are both BG's - I didn't even know he had those if that's one you got from him-It is a special one at that thickness though I believe-

I have to say that I have some BG knives that are, comparatively to other knives I'll ever own.....grail material.

I can't delve into $1000+ knives, etc.....let alone use them as intended.

So, what he's saying is more his perspective.......and I totally get it.

If you are willing to wait? Almost everything shows up here on the exchange be patient .
And with Busse 35 anniversary something old and something new OP2W2 in action right now
I'm going to stick and stay waiting for the grails to show up .

Yes they are both BG. I meant my "Grail" knife...one that was perfect to me. Sorry for the confusion.

If I could post screen shots, i'd show you it isnt there. The only thing next to my "post reply" button is "More options.." And that just opens up the "Reply to Thread" window

Might be a membership perk on optional higher membership levels.
 
I hear ya, I went from 0 to 5 ordered within a month! The first one should be arriving this week.

TGM infi with orange and green G10
Satin PG with green and black G10
And 3 A2TGM's ordered tonight!

I love the anticipation of waiting for them to arrive in stages!
