Front scale on the large 25 and Inskoi

I have big hands. I like the scale large 21 & Zann, I can put my hands anywhere on the scale. The scale is comfortable for me.

The 'finger grooves' on the large 25 and Inskio are not comfortable for me. I had a large 25 that I sold because I couldn't get used to or like the finger grooves.

I tried to like the finger grooves, believe me I tried and tried.

I remember some guys saying they didn't like the finger grooves on the 25 when it came out.

Is there anyone else that doesn't like the finger grooves and has sold or won't buy the large 25 or large Inskoi because the don't like the finger grooves?
 
I was very hesitant to get one of these for the same reasons. But I have xl-xxl hands and it actually fits my hand perfect.

 
IMO, too many people get caught up in the "finger grooves" aspect of the 25/Inkosi. If you look at an Umnumzaan, you can see there are actual places that your fingers "should be" vs not. The milling on it just doesnt have a finger grooved look. Most times i grip my knives, the tip of my fingers and palm are the only areas that are gripping it. The grooves or whatever shape of the knife is laying/floating at the base of my fingers/palm. YMMV
 
^^^^ I was eating New England clam chowder when reading this and when I followed the link you provided I did a spit take that landed on the wall, the cat and my CF 25.

It's like deja vu all over again.

I'm not a fan of finger grooves as well. Same reason I got rid of finger grooves on a Glock G19. Different strokes, they say.......
 
So the whole point of this thread was to poop on the Inkosi and 25 for the second time in less than a month? Seems legit....
 
I prefer the one finger groove on the 21 and the Classic or Regular ( I forget which). However I got used to the double grooves on my large Inkosi in no time.
