I have a little jacknife that has the name "Frontier" on the handle and one of the blades. It has a small clip blade and a pen blade. Does anyone know who made this knife or its relative quality?

Thanks,
Biff

I believe that these knives were produced by Imperial (now Imperial-Schrade). They were considered to be in the lower range of the quality spectrum, and few people seem to collect them. It's a shame. Although these little knives were not the finest, they were the first knife for many kids in lower and middle class America.

Knife experts, correct me if I am mistaken in my identification.

Dave
