I'm looking for a website that sells Frontier brand machetes at a decent price. I've seen a few floating around on the forums and figured I'd give one of these 440C beasts a try, but for the life of me I can't find any suppliers online. Anyone have any suggestions?

Handle looks pretty good

Super-nice handles and blade shapes, I'd buy one in carbon steel in a pinch if they made one. Too bad only 440C... :(

for 25 bucks it's worth a try I think, I really like the blade shapes. I'll let ya know how it works out. I wanted a Svord Bush Machete but the only supplier I could find wanted 120 dollars for it...

For your consideration... THIS

It is not the same but rather similar... made in China from 440 stainless (although not explicitly 440C)... very similar blade shape and handle shape (but no lanyard hole)... Blade is about 4 inches longer though... Available at Machete Specialists and Amazon... FWIW...

Walmart carries decent machetes for about $6. I've carried them for years. They will chip if you hit a rock. Smoky mountain also has different sized machetes. I've got a couple. Good metal.

If a handle is too rough on your hand with all the swinging, use a leather glove on that hand.

I was just lookin for that specific brand, I've got a slowly growing collection of machetes that's starting to look pretty good (got in 2 12 inch trams and a tram bolo today from smokey mountain). Reorx, I may pick up that chinese machete too...
