I JUST PURCHASED A BUCK FRONTIERSMAN 124 (1996 MANUFACTURE). IT HAS BEAUTIFUL WOOD HANDLES AND A BROWN LEATHER SHEATH. CAN ANYONE TELL ME IF THESE WERE MADE WITH COCOBOLA WOOD, OR IS THIS A WOOD LAMINATE ?
THANKS

Ford,
In 1996 the 124 had a handle of Birchwood. This is a tough laminate, like most of the cocobola used. It makes for a very good looking and strong handle!
