I have a frost cutlery smooth bone handle folding knife. It has a side loch ( bolste lock) on the blade it says arapaho with a spear the name frost cutlery and eagle insignea. On the other side it says surgical steel and a us pat 4173068. Was looking for a little info on it. Can't find this knife in a search, thanks

Just any kind of info. I just recieved a bunch of different knives and am trying to see what i have. Ive got puma, gerber, diefenthal solingen, r h forschner to name a couple and i'm just trying to see what i have

Are you trying to sell your knives? If so allow me to tell you that you're not in luck. Frost Cutlery is cheap Chinese garbage that isn't worth anything at all. Gerber is slightly better but not by much. (Unless you have one of their old knives back when they were still made in the U.S.)

The only brand you mentioned that is actually worth a damn is Puma (Outstanding German made knives). What model is it? It is usually stamped on the blade.

Not really thinking of selling at this point. I would just like to know what i have. The pumas are a buddy no.11 6383 new in box, bowie no.11 6396 in box. White hunter 6377, and a small folding with the no.440 610 on blade and puma logo about 3" closed. Also have J russell green river works, explorer solingen alpine hunter, and murphy combat. Thanks for any info

I hav pics but not sure how to post then. I am new on here and not sure how to use it yet

That Frost sounds like it's one of their older Japanese-made knives, which I've heard are actually decent quality. Still not worth a lot from a sales standpoint, but if it's in decent condition it should be a fine edc knife.
