My son gave me this knife several years ago. I know it is not a "high dollar" knife but it has sentimental value. Throughout the years it has come apart and I am now missing the spacer between the handles. I contacted Frost Cutlery who said they dont fix these knives or have parts. Anyway, anyone have any idea where to get these replacement parts? Or even identify this knife with a model # so I can can narrow down my search?

You're in the wrong forum, John. Trying posting in "General Knife Discussion." Good luck.

I think I still have one of these frost cutlery Aztech folders I could send you parts from if you want, let me look In my junk box.

I know these were called the Aztech because I had at one time every single version they made, but like all my cheapo flea market type knives all of the new in box ones were sold in a yard sale.

I'm pretty sure I still have the one I carried and used, but I looked in the box I thought it was in and it wasn't.
I'll keep a look out and if I do find it I'll shoot you a pm and send you the parts.

Moving this to General Knife Discussion. Good luck finding parts for your knife.

I think finding one that is similar is your best hope. Frost doesn't make knives. They are shipped to them in bulk, they package, and ship to their customers (stores, and so forth). About the only thing they could do is provide a new knife to replace it.

Another option is hardware and standoffs instead of a complete backspace. Or cut out a backspacer from wood, plastic, g10, etc.

That’s a really great idea. If you’re the handy sort it wouldn’t be all that tricky to create a new spacer.
