Frost Mora Chef Knife Model 4304 with 12" Stainless Blade with Rosewood Handles

Hello,

Would any happen to know what steel this knife is made of as the blade is only stamped with Forsts Mora Stainless. The person who sold it, states that it's over 35 years old. I looked on Mora's site and no longer can find any information on it.

I'm guessing it could be any of the following: 14C28N, 7C27Mo2, 12C27, 12C27M, 13C26, 19C27

I would guess that it is 12C27 as that is my understanding of what the post 1980 merged Mora of Sweden uses for stainless. I would check with ragnar at Ragweed Forge who has a depth of knowledge of all sharp things from that part of the world.
