I posted this on the Maintenance forum, but thought I would add here as well. I have a knife, not sure where or when I got it, that's has on the blade, "Frosts Made in Sweden, Mora Stainless Steel". The blade is about 4" long as is the handle is black with green trim on each end. Sheath is army green as well and is plastic.

I have a couple questions, first I would like to get another knife exactly like this is it a Frosts or a Mora, and where can I get them.

Second, I am just getting into knives, and am sharpening challenged, so I got a Work Sharp Knife Sharpener and can now get my knives sharp. I believe that Mora have an angled grind and my WSKS puts on a convex edge. Can I use my WSKS on Mora 's? I know the grind will change, but can I still get and keep them very sharp without ruining the blade.

The knife sounds like a "Clipper" model to me. The Companion is the updated version. Frosts was one of the big makers from Mora, Sweden. They and the other major maker, K.J. Eriksson merged a few years back under the new branding "Mora of Sweden" or "Morakniv". Frosts is now a line name under the new branding.

Oh and it's "mora of Sweden" some sellers call them "frost" cutlery also...same company.

Frost Cutlery is a totally different company and almost exclusively makes crappy gas station-quality knives. ;)

In terms of the WorkSharp yes you could use it to sharpen a Mora but it would convert the grind from a scandi to a convex.
