I've had to explain the diffrence about a thousand times. One is a very good inexpensive line of fixed blade knives with excellent steel and razor sharp edges and the other is a lot of crap from taiwan, pakistan, and wherever they can make cheap fancy looking folding butter knives made out of steel that can be bent in your fingers and wont take an edge worth a damn, but thats a good thing cause when the lock fails you wont cut off your fingers. Frosts should find a way clearing this up so that they wont be painted with the same brush. Tooo many people have looked at me funny when I say I love my little frost knife. Someone said he'd never seen that one offered in the 50 pack of fixed blades for 59.99 plus s&h grrrrrrr. One of them need to change thier names so people wont mistake one for the other. Sorry I just needed to rant alittle..............

I hope you feel better now. It does help to let a little steam off every now and then.

It is unfortunate that a maker of some pretty darn good knives has a name so similar to one that has junk made for them. I do believe that it probably has hurt them. Not with the knowledgable knife people, but with the everyday consumer and there are a lot more of those.

Yup, you are right. I've NEVER known there is anything other than Frost Cutlery knives, and hence I don't pay them ANY attention.

Where are these better-quality Frosts available? Just curious.

I'm getting the idea that you really like those little Moras! So which is your favorite?

Frosts makes some great, inexpensive fishing knives.I carry one in my tackle box and keep a couple of extras just in case one winds up at the bottom of the lake.

It's hard to pick my fav cause i've got multiples of each but if I had to pick one that I carry the most I'd say the carbon clipper hands down. Sharpens easy and holds it's edge the sheath just clips on and the handle has a rubber coated grip that doesnt slip when covered in fat, blood or any other fluid. They only cost 7 bux apiece so they make good first knives for scouts. I love moras!!!!!!!!!

Today I got a shipment of 4 of the Eriksson plastic handled Mora's from Campers Village @ $5.50 US each plus shipping. I have a hard time finding these locally, thank goodness the 'net makes the knife world a global village. FWIW I like the handle on the Frosts Swedish Army/Deck Knife better, but prefer these Eriksson blades, you just can't beat this deep V Scandinavian grind. I sure wish a big US knifemaker would look these over and say 'we can do these, only cheaper and better'.
