Frosty morning on the lake

Decided to wander the usual lake today. It was pretty much deserted so I was able to wander around slowly, taking in everything nature had to offer.

Took my new Diving Sparrow Knife Works Boreal.

This knife is a real slicer. Full flat grind sharpened to a shaving edge. The handles are by far the most comfortable that I have ever held. The sheath is extremely well made and feels as tough as kydex. A full on review will be done down the road once I spend some more time with it.

Great place to top up the canteen while hiking or stop by to dip your feet in the summer:

Nothing more relaxing then sitting next to a calm lake with a little waft of smoke going up your nose while you wait for a hot cup of coffee
