Don't really want to get rid of this one, but need the money more than I need the knife (in this case short sword).
Used one day to chop up some wood and stuff, blade is in solid condition but needs some prettying up...has some scratches on it from rub, hitting treated wood, and from being tossed into ground once or twice. Blade also has a few rolls on it. Let me be clear in that this knife is not structurally damaged, but nobody looking at it would ever mistake it for unused, and I will not represent it as such.
Retaining strap on sheath was slit by actual blade as shown in picture.
Mike Stewart (owner/founder of Bark River) has stated that sending it to the spa would return the blade to as new condition (something he promises with all blades), as well as he would fix the retaining strap on the sheath so it's just a matter of sending it to him and covering return shipping. The refurb is at no cost, as with all Bark River knives.
Quick google search came up with these stats:
Overall Length: 16 Inches
Blade Length: 10.5 Inches
Blade Steel: N685 Bohler @ 58rc
Blade Thickness: .275 Inch
Weight: 22 Ounces
175 shipped obo in CONUS, payment via paypal personal or paypal +4%. No postal money orders or personal checks please.
Shipping method is via USPS priority with delivery confirmation and will go out asap once payment is recieved. Blade is for sale multiple places.
If you purchase this PLEASE BE CAREFUL...both edges of this wicked blade are still very sharp. As always, thread "I'll take it" gets priority. No holds.
