Selling my bearOps b200 butterfly with 14c28n (not 154cm) blade. Only selling because I just pre-ordered a Microtech Tachyon II and the wife is at the point now when a new knife comes in one must go out.
A few things about this knife. It retails for around $90 and I believe it was made to compete with the same market as the bradley kimura. I own a kimura and I think the b200 is a better flipper. However the kimura is a better quality knife all around. This knife is excellent for a beginner mainly because the blade does not come very sharp from the factory and the edge doesn't start until almost an inch up the blade (this will save you some blood especially when finishing a helix or doing a simple wrist pass) I did handle one of the first production b200's with the 154cm blade (the first model they made) and the QC on this is definitely a step up (especially concerning the handles.) My only gripe with this knife is that the handles have a bit more play than higher quality balisongs.
Includes Knife, Box, Warranty info sheet, carry pouch, and pocket clip (currently not connected to the knife.)
A couple extras included with this knife are: An (almost full) set of replacement screws and spacers purchased from bear and son for $9+ shipping and a .34oz bottle of blue loc-tite.
Within 30 minutes of playing with this knife for the first time 2 small screws fell out and were lost. When I received the replacement pack I disassembled the entire knife and applied loc-tite to every screw and oiled the bushings with break-free oil. Haven't used it much since.
$85 Includes shipping to CONUS with tracking and pay-pal fees. Buyer must be 18 and assumes responsibility concerning the legality of this knife blah blah blah.
First PM to wind up in my email gets it.
