Here is a fine example of a Blackjack Knives made, Tom Maringer designed Vorpal short sword or fighter knife with the original issue black leather sheath. The knife is made from 1/4" high carbon tool steel and the blade is 17.5" in length with an overall length of 24". It has a contoured blackish green micarta handle over a full length and thickness tang, secured by four (4) brass hollow tubes. The knife has a greyish bead blasted finish. it is marked Maringer Vorpal with the Vorpal Maringer Winged Dragon logo and on the obverse side is: Blackjack Classic Blades with the playing card and dagger logo over Effingham, Ill., U.S.A.! The sheath is in excellent condition and is built to support the sword/knife off of two loops hanging from the belt at a mild angle down from the horizontal. $Withdrawn.
Next is a rare late 1980's to early '1990 vintage Blackjack Simba duel edge bolo bush fighter knife which is in new condition with the original Blackjack Factory issued black leather sheath. The knife is marked: "Blackjack Simba with the Lions Head Logo and on the obverse: Effingham over Illinois over U.S.A."! The Blackjack Simba is 17.5" in overall in length with a 3/16" thick 12" long leaf-shaped high carbon stainless steel blade with a Kraton checkered black rubber type handle secured on my three black allen head screws. It has never been used! $Withdrawn.
