Hello BFers,
Up for consideration is a Camillus Cuda MAXX 5.5 Bowie Clip Point with a partially serrated edge. The MAXX is just sitting inside the drawer and really should get some use.
The lock needed some work after I got it and instead of sending it into Camillus I contacted Mr. Darrel Ralph. He offset the thumb studs to improve the lockup, drilled and tapped the knife for tip-up carry and installed his fold-over clip and lock-stop. Original clip also included.
Yes, this knife is "wavable" and will do it very, very easily. Nothing like 5.5" of folder jumping to the ready
The lock-up is 2/3 across the tang, please see the picture. It's sharp as hell but there is a small nick/chip on the front curved section. I think it hits one of the frame stays at times.
No Box but the original padded pouch is included as is a cordura/ballistic nylon belt sheath so you can carry the MAXX w/o the clip if you choose. It's set-up for horizontal and vertical carry.
That's the good, bad and ugly folks.
I'm looking for SOLD. I can do Paypal (no additional fees required) and International Money Orders. Canadian members can also use EMT (Email Money Transfers).
