Just came across this web site today. Anyone familiar with them and have any comment on the knife? thanks!

They are kinda old, really hard to find, and very expensive. They were used a little over 60 years ago for clandestine tactical de-animation of German and Japanese people by a bunch of badass commandos. A whole lot of people make worthless replicas of them, and a few people make decent replicas of them.

There you are, I have commended on Fairbairn-Sykes commando daggers.

dorito monk! thanks for the reply and my chance to show how little I know about knives. I thought I was responding to a specific knife maker at this website: http://www.esa-swords.com/home.html Does anyone know about them and where they fall on the scale? thanks!

You can buy the Fairborn-Sykes dagger that is made in Sheffield England at a very good price. I think they're made in the same factory as the originals. Lots of different variations are available.
