FOR SALE: LARGE SEBENZA 21 With FREEDOM Graphic
NEW PICTURES ADDED
This is a great knife, but I just can't bring myself to use it. It's too nice! Time to let her go and buy an EDC.
This large Sebenza 21 has not been used, or carried, but has been handled and admired. It has a solid (bank vault) lock up, and a perfect, factory fresh blade. The lock bar engages at about 65% (my best estimate), well within Chris Reeves' standards. The blade is a bit off center when closed, but doesn't rub the scale, and the function is perfect. I thought about sending it back, but it's a small thing, and it works perfectly. (If it's not broken, why fix it?).
It is NOT MINT, however. I've open & closed it a lot. I love the sound it makes- CUULUNK!
In the process, I have made a few very small flaws. The pocket clip edges are shiny in a couple places from handling. But, there are no scratches on the clip because it hasn't been carried. The back edges of the scales show a few rub marks or scratches. It must have bumped into something along the way. I didn't even notice them until today when I closely inspected the knife. Finally, the front scale (with graphic) has a small vertical scratch near the lanyard hole. I couldn't get it to photograph as it was too faint.
All this makes the knife sound bad, which it is not. I just want to be as thorough as I can. I think the new owner will be pleasantly surprised at the condition. She's a great blade--too fine for me! Time for someone to enjoy using this patriot, FREEDOM knife.
I paid $460 + shipping.
