I have a lightly carried/used Emerson Super CQC-7, plain edge, 2006 production, with "satin" finish. The blade is actually coated....hard chromed, I believe. Anyhow, there is a little smoothing/polishing to the coating that can be seen in the pics (towards the tip on the grind lines).

Lock-up is superb, but the knife still retains a very easy and smooth action, not gritty or tight by any means. Flicks and waves with very little effort. Edge is untouched and still super sharp.
No box, knife only.

BTT, $115 shipped, and no need to fret about possible QC issues.
This one has smooth and easy action, yet with no play. Lock engagment is in the first 1/2 of the blade.

Would trade for (partial or full depending on the model/handle material):

Queen Cutlery Mountain Man in 1095 steel with either bone, horn, antler (sambar?!?!) handles. No wood scales.

Moore Maker lock-back #5106LB, #8106LB, or any of that model (4.5" single blade folder) with 1095 steel. I don't want wood scales, though I don't know if they even came with wood scales.

QC has to be good on either, handle finishing, color, good lock up, no play, NIB preferred.
