Up for sale are a Kershaw Tilt Stonewashed and Spyderco Lionspy. Each comes with original packaging. I am the original owner, and each knife was purchased from a legitimate online dealer. Each has been carried for a total of about 2-3 hours by me (dropped into the side pocket of carpenter jeans, so it was a very loose carry), but neither has seem much use. I've only cut a couple pieces of printer paper and opened a couple envelopes with each knife. So, they are technically not NIB or mint, but I would say they're 95% plus (and this is being conservative). I have not sharpened either knife; both still have the original factory edge.
I am NOT accepting any trades whatsoever, so please do not offer. I am selling these to fund other purchases.
The prices below include Paypal fees and CONUS USPS Priority Mail shipping with insurance. Paypal or Postal Money Order is fine, but I prefer Paypal for a fast transaction. Please post an "I'll take it" here followed by a PM or email if you want to buy a knife. I might ship internationally, but prefer a CONUS sale. If I ship internationally, additional shipping charges will apply. Note that the prices below are LESS than I paid from online dealers...I am already losing money on these and am not trying to be a flipper/gouger.
Tilt:
Lockup is rock solid (at about 50%), and I feel/see no blade play. Blade is perfectly centered. Blade is razor sharp. Action is SMOOOOOTH with no stickiness. There is some VERY MINOR scuffing around the pivot area on the carbon fiber. I tried to capture this in the photo below but it can't really be seen it is so light. It came this way from the factory, and I have read many reviews about people having similar problems like this in the pivot area. This is serial no. 420, so it is from the 2nd run with a lockup very similar to the DLC Tilts. Price is SOLD
Lionspy:
Lockup is rock solid (at about 50%), probably the most solid I've ever felt on any folder. I feel/see no blade play. Perfectly centered blade. Blade is razor sharp...I have read reviews that some Lionspy knives were pretty dull; this one definitely isn't. Action is a hair tight but very, very smooth. The stop pin protrudes SLIGHTLY above the G10 like many other Lionspy knives I've read about. As I said, lockup is solid, so this doesn't affect performance. It came this way from the factory, and I have read many reviews about people having similar problems like this. Eyeballing it, I would say it is about 1/64" above the higher of the machined G10 ridges (so the majority of the "protrusion" is sitting inside one of the indented type ridges). Releasing the lockbar is stiffer than most framelocks, but it is still plenty simple (it doesn't hurt or anything) and is not at all sticky. Rotoblock seems to function as it should, but I don't have much experience with this knife feature. Price is SOLD
