Knife has been used, just disassembled, cleaned and greased with CRK grease. It's as smooth as it gets. Lockup is solid, tight, no play at all. Blade is centered and shaving sharp. I hand polished the scales to a matte finish...not quite polished like the embellished ones. It's very clean. No grain. I used 2000 grit I hit the sides and all the crannies. Completely even. Also has 2x thumbstuds. Knife comes alone with wrench. No box or papers with this one. Like nearly all BG-42's, it's unmarked on the underside of the scales and has the grooves along the back spine of the titanium scales. It's a beauty.
