I have been going through a lot of Benchmade to find out which ones I like and which ones I don't. I carried this one for a few days and only used a couple times for basic tasks (opening a few packages, food prep, etc.). I love the knife, and I will eventually purchase another one, however my next knife I want to try is an 890, and the wife isn't huge on me taking another $100 out of the bank account to try another knife when I just bought this one a week ago.
Anyway, I paid $105 for it. Selling for $80 shipped CONUS via USPS priority flat rate box. Be advised, I live in Germany (US Army) so it will take a few extra days for it to arrive, so don't be alarm when it doesn't show up in the usual two days for priority mail.
I have all the original packaging and what not for it. It has some extremely light wear on the spine of the blade from being opening/closed, however it is thinner than a human hair, and cant even be portrayed with a camera, but I figured I would mention it. The pivot screw could use a tightening as there is some play from side to side. I ordered a BM Blue Tool kit to tighten these, but it hasn't yet arrived and I don't want to risk it by trying a torx that isn't the right size. It has never been sharpened, and can still slice through paper like it's butter.
Feel free to contact me on this site or email me. I would also take a trade for a BM 890 Torrent, or if you have an Al Mar Sere 2000 that you are willing to trade, let me know, and we can work something out.
