I have an old-style plain-edged SOG Tigershark that I'm looking to sell for $90, shipped via USPS Priority Mail (USA only).

This Tigershark is in excellent condition, with a few light scratches/scuffs on the blade (none goes through the coating). There are no nicks in the blade or handle/guard. This one comes in the black cordura nylon SOG sheath, but there is no box with it. I don't have any photos of this knife, and I don't know what steel it is, but I assume that it's AUS-6.

If interested in purchase (USA only), or for any questions, please contact me via email, and I'll get back with you promptly.

Thanks for looking.:).

Price lowered to $80, shipped. I need to sell this knife, as I NEED some money.

Well, I had no bites at $90, so I lowered the price to $80. I had no bites at $80, so I'm raising the price up to $85. If it doesn't sell at $85, it's going back up to $90 tomorrow.:D.

Is this a poorly disguised mechanism to get around the "frequency of bumps" rule without lowering the price of your knife?

"Rules for the Exchange forums.

...Bumps or BTT style posts are only allowed once every 72 hours, per thread. If you bump your thread more than that, it will be locked. New posts listing price changes, new photographs or information, or additional items for sale, answering buyer questions, or listing the item as sold are allowed and do not apply to the "1 Bump every 72 hours" rule."

Please show me in the posted rules where it says that raising the selling price violated the rules.

You're right, Dan. Likewise, the degree/percentage/amount of price change isn't detailed in the rules. It is perfectly legitimate, in the rules, to lower (and then I suppose raise) the price to facilitate bumping a sale three times in <24 hours.
