The Ciabatta by Pro Tech is a completely new idea in folding knives. The mechanism is "Spring Assisted" because the knife can only be opened with pressure applied to the blade, and there is a detent that keeps the blade in the closed position so that it cannot be flipped open with gravity.
The Pin Lock Ultra Safety (PLUS) mechanism will take a few minutes to become familiar with. Since this knife opens and closes in a completely different manner than other knives, be sure to take some time to review the instruction sheet below before handling the knife.
