**Both knives sold!!**

I got a couple up for sale, to raise funds for yet another purchase.

- Strider SMF, Gen 2, Bos stamped, black G-10. The knife is a user, lots of faint scuffs on the Ti side and clip, the flame coloring is worn through in a couple of spots. No dings or nicks in the G-10, but it has been worn pretty smooth (compared to a new one, that is). The edge is clean, no nicks or dings, lockup is solid and the lockbar covers half the blade tang. No play in any direction. The blade is canted ever so slightly to the G-10 side when closed, which is perfect for right-handers as the blade would be pushed towards the Ti side when opening. I'm asking $375>SOLD.

- Microtech Kestrel manual opener with uncoated, PE blade, LNIB. The blade is marked 8/99 and the knife comes with plastic clamshell box with cardboard sleeve, unused sheath and paperwork. The blade and edge are pristine, except for that odd kind of "shading" or unevenness in the blade finish that I've seen on older Microtechs - maybe the bead blasting was a little too fine back then. A good cleaning might fix things up, but I don't want to do anything to the knife since I'm selling. If I had to be picky, there are also a couple of very faint scuffs on the pocket clip, the knife has to be held at an angle for them to be seen. I'm asking $250>$220>$200>SOLD.

Prices include shipping via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation and insurance in the U.S. I can take Paypal (preferred) or a USPS Money Order. As for trades, the only thing that interests me at the moment is a NIB/LNIB Benchmade 630 Skirmish + cash.

Please e-mail me if you are interested. I will be installing a new hard drive and reinstalling all my programs, so I won't have access to the forums for a day or two at least. Thanks.

Some pics. For the blade close-ups, I was holding the knife in the shadow while the background was in the sunlight, so the blades took on a bluish cast that I'm not Photoshop-savvy enough to get rid of.

- Microtech Kestrel...

FWIW, I have the same MT Kestrel with the same manufacturing date and I'm pretty sure that the blade on this one has MT's extremely tough and corrosion resistant silver/gray chromium nitride (CrN) coating. The slightly uneven appearance usually goes away if you wipe the blade down with a lightly oiled cloth.

This is an excellent knife that's getting hard to find - I'm hanging on to mine.

Hope this helps, and good luck.

Thanks for the info, I knew there had to be some kind of reasonable explanation for the blade's appearance.

I wanted to also add that I would entertain partial trades as long as I am trading down (i.e., no cash on my end). I'm particularly interested in:
- Spyderco Civilian
- Benchmade 630 Skirmish
- Protech Magic, silver (uncoated), PE blade
- Benchmade 42
- Kershaw Offset, G-10 handle
- Zero Tolerance 0350KW
- Emerson CQC-8, current model with stonewashed blade.
