FSH Question

I've recently gotten on a Busse kick again after a couple of years and I've got a FSH question. I love the profile but I'd like to use it and I don't like the really thick models. What is the name/acronym of a thinner model that isn't really high priced? I would most likely try to trade into it with a user HOG version that is quite a bit thicker/heavier than what I'd like. (This isn't meant to be a fishing expedition, I'll start a thread in the Trade forums but I don't know what to ask for yet.)

Thanks for any help,

Greg

you got it. FSH

you want to trade a HOFSH aka HOGFSH (.32" flat ground) for a FSH aka Fusion steel heart. It was the first in the fusion line so there were no other letters needed to differentiate it from the others and its .25" flat ground:thumbup:

I prefer it as well and have a keeper in old school green linen or what has recently been referred to as green snakeskin.

ps. One more thing. Is the regular FSH a full flat grind or sabre grind? If it's a sabre is there a non custom model that is Full Flat at the same thickness?

TIA,

Greg

Its FFG. Its also .25" coated.

Remember it this way...the only saber ground FSH is the HH that came in two versions. The FSH, and HOFSH are both flat ground.;)

Only others Ive ever owned that were .25" FFG were satin and came from a show few years ago.

Keep in mind these are still two different knives. Similar to the original HH, heavy heart .27" coated saber ground, vs the Easton specials HH version that were satin saber.27"

Same but different in that the coated HH is thinner if stripped around .255" and so the standand FSH would be around .235" stripped.
