Does anyone know the weight of the HOFSH vs the FSH?

I know the HO is thicker, but by how much I am not sure.

I'll go weigh mine asap, that is unless someone beats me to it. :o

Standard FSH specs with mag handles:

Thickness of handles, from front to rear:
0.97"
0.66"
0.94"
0.64"
0.92"
Weight:
1 lb 8 oz
Full length, standing on butt to tip:
14-1/4"

HOFSH with mag handles:

Weight:
1lb 10oz

Other specs are about the same but of course slightly more considering the extra thickness of the blade, ie 5/16"
Hope this helps.

Thanks,

Surprising that it only adds 2 ounces.

I think I will get one of the HO's when they come to the company store.

If you get one Busse, make it the HOFSH with Mag slabs (if you can get em). You'll never regret it. Of course it won't be your last but I'll bet it will be the last one you'll ever get rid of! Personally, the one I have is my " to the grave" knife!

I'm not Skunk, but I think you are SOL on that one. Aren't they all gone?

Rick - got mine

There are the Heavy Hearts. Wonder if they'll come in at 1 lb. 9 oz. with the mag slabs?

If the Heavy Hearts are not full flat or full convex ground, they will likely be heavier than the HOFSH.

The HOFSH is mu favorite Busse knife and I do not have one:mad:
Could someone please post a real cool picture of one. :D
It would make my day.

Cheers,

André

When Skunk gets the next run of Heavy's, don't hesitate. It may be the last time they come out. When they are gone that is all she wrote.

Will Busse make a run of HOFSH knives?

I am just about ready to trade some serious knives for a HOFSH:grumpy:

Skunk is supposed to get about 200 of a mid weight FSH. It will not be as thick as the HO, from my understanding, but it will be halfway in thickness between the FSH and the HO. However, it will easily be as stiff as the HO since it will be the saber grind instead of Flat grind, kinda like the Prototype.
They should be very cool. Skunk can chime n here when he expects them, but I think he's been saying two weeks for sometime now.
