For Sale or Trade: Spydero Carbon Fiber Delica C11CFP, Spyderco Dyad Jr. C39 P&SBK, Kershaw 1500 Mini Random Task, Queen BEM Whittler #48, Queen BEM Muskrat Spey #66S, Queen Cocobolo Doctor’s Knife #96

Okay, it’s time for a little (warning: cliché ahead) spring cleaning. Got some good knives that are just sitting around, needing new homes.

First, a few details. If you want to buy one of the knives listed here, please post an “I’ll take it” and send a PM or email to verify. A firm “I’ll take it” to buy will be given priority over other inquiries or offers so long as the terms at the bottom are met. Other than that, I will do my level best to deal with everything on a first come, first served basis.

Second, the knives I would be interested in trading for are limited specifically to the following…
> Ranger RD7
> Becker BK7
> Spyderco Ronin
> Spyderco Calypso 3 w/plain edge VG10 blade
> Spyderco Kumo

Cash adjustments either way can be discussed and made if appropriate on trades. Also, trading multiples knives for one can be discussed.

Without further ado…

~ Spydero Carbon Fiber Delica C11CFP (consolidated here from another thread)
VG10 blade, single steel liner, carries tip up or tip down on the right hand side. Numbered 300 (but not, to my knowledge, used by the Spartans at Thermopylae ;) ). Knife is in excellent condition. I am not the original owner. I carried the knife twice and opened a few envelopes with it. Pics below will show that there are some small imperfections in the CF around the lanyard hole, all of which were present on the knife when I acquired it. There are also some light marks on the scales in front on the clip, but I could not effectively show them in the pics. Walk and talk is 100%, smooth action and solid lockup with no blade play. The edge is maybe a touch less than factory sharp, which is to say it’s still very sharp. Original box included. sold pending funds

~ Queen Cocobolo Doctor’s Knife #96. Carried once, 98%. Cocobolo handles, 420HC blade with spatula. 3.625” closed. Original box included. SOLD


All of the Queen D2 blades had a light coat of Rust Free applied after I received them.

I am bumping this thread because I have to state the following regarding the cocobolo doctor's knife.

It appears from all the sources I've been able to scour in the 24 hours that the doctor's pattern was never put out by Queen with D2 blades, only 420HC. Regardless of what information I did or did not have at the time I bought the knife or what I believed about the knife since the purchase, I have misrepresented it and I apologize for that.

I have informed the gentleman who was interested in buying the knife of this, and offered a 50% reduction on the price should he ultimately decide to buy it.

I would like to thank BF member Mongo for bringing the question of the steel to my attention.

The doctor's knife is on hold while the prospective buyer decides. The other 2 Queens, the Mini Task and the CF Delica are still available.

Okay, everything is gone except for the CF Delica, which I thought would be the first one out the door. To that end, price drop on the Delica to sold pending funds. If you can find one for a better price than that I hope you took advantage and already bought it. ;)
