I recently got a Gen 2 in a trade so I'm parting with one of my favorite Striders, my Gen 1 SMF. It's in exellent condition and the lockup was just adjusted by the Striderguys so it's a bank vault. There are light scuffs on the Ti side of the handle and very light scratches on the blade. Very light. The blade is centered and action is smooth.

$425

I can take paypal(+3%, Paypal address is paypal at mckean dot com), cashiers checks, or money orders. First I'll take it gets it.

Things I won't trade for: Autos, Fixed blades besides Doziers and Swamp Rats, Balis, Slipjoints, and dual sided blades (daggers). I'm also not a real big fan of Natural handle materials besides Pearl and Abalone.

Let me know if you have any questions or need different/bigger/better pics. Standard shipping is $5, insured is $8.

Thanks for looking,

Greg McKean

SHTF,
Thanks for your interest but I've currently got all the Sebbies I need, and then some. If you have any other trade offers though feel free to email them to me.

BTT with a price drop. $380 plus shipping and paypal fees if thats how you pay. And at this point I'd prefer money as opposed to a trade.

thanks,

Thanks Rick but since I've had to drop the price so low I'd like to stick to cash at this point.

thanks,

Whats the difference between the gen1 and gen2 SMF? I just bought a new SnG for $400, and I wish I would have seen your thread a day sooner. What a deal for your knife!

I should think the main difference is the lockbar doesn't have a cutout for your finger to disengage it. If you picked up a Gen 6 SnG it should have a scalloped lockbar where as the Gen 5 SnG and Gen 1 SMF are squared. I'll try to post a pic tonight when I get home.

ps. I'm on my way to read your pm Max.

thanks guys,

The SMF is taken. Thanks Max.

thanks for looking,

Mr Oilman, can I ask you a question? I have read in several adds for "Striders for sale" that the blade has been adjusted by Strider. Is this something that needs to be done over time? I have seen it several times and it seems curious to me. Is there that much wear or movement? They look to be built like tanks, no? Thanks! Tom
