FT Camp Tomahawk

I ordered a Fort Turner Camp Hawk about a month ago, and Dana just finished it up and shipped it today.
It should be with me on the 25th or 26th.

I was wondering if any of you have any experience with FT Hawks, or more specifically the Camp Hawk?

His website states that the Camp Tomahawk weighs in at 2.5lbs, but when I talked to him on the phone he said that it feels lighter in the hand.

I have also read that the camp hawk is a little smaller overall in person vs. what the pictures shows.
Is that true?

I am a little concerned because my GB Scandinavian Forest Axe only weighs a mere 0.5lb more.

If anyone has a Camp Hawk, can you please tell me what the weight of the head alone is?

Il be waiting to see if you get your hawk and i really hope you do all i know is that i ordered mine december 30th and nothing yet . That makes it almost 4 months . Rich

Maybe you should contact him and ask him the status of your hawk...? Four months seems like an unusually long time. I already have tracking status for my hawk, so no problems there.

Once I get it I will write up an entire review/test to better inform people like myself.

Just did sent a email will see could be because i asked for an extended edge . Ive only emailed him twice all this time last time was on 3/20/12 and he told me he would ship that week i guess il just have to wait and see . Looking forward to your pics and review . Rich He just contacted me mines also on the way he just didnt get around to letting me know.
