Been checking out these tires, and have been getting some pretty good reviews. Supposedly, they are the #1 tire on the Audobon(sp). Anybody else have these tires on their car? My friend has them on his Impala, and likes them pretty well.

Fulda tires?? Nope never heard of them:confused:

If you want really good American made tires that
are an excellent value in addition to being first
rate tires check out Kelly-Springfield tires. They
are not to well know but this company as been
around for a VERY long time. :) :)

Dan,
They are great tires. Had them on several cars. I spent 3 years in Fulda, just down the street from the factory. Lots of fast cars there were wearing them. I plan to get a set for the LS as soon as the Cooper LSEs wear out.

Thanks, Kit. I was hoping to get a positive response besides what I have read on the internet. One good thing about these tires is the price. I can get four for about half what the Michelins cost.

Kelly Spingfield tires are made by Goodyear.I just put a set on my Sport.

Had Fulda radials on my Porsche.

The more expensive Porsches wore Pirelli P7s. I had no real complaint with my Fuldas, however.

The one tire I won't buy is Michelin. Oh, excellent tires, I admit. But the painfully heavy-handed tv commercials they used to run, with the baby sitting in the tire, and the suggestion that if you don't buy Michelin, you're consigning your infant children to a fiery death, just annoyed the hell out of me. (Personally, I like tv commercials featuring silicone-enhanced models in bikinis, possibly cavorting on the beach with beer-drinking dogs.)

I ended up getting the Fulda tires. $298 total for 4 tires installed, out the door. Not bad, considering that my car uses 205 65HR 15 tires. The same size tire from Michelin in a "H" rated tire was about $150 apiece! Now that I have had the tires on my car for several days, and have run them in a couple rainstorms, I am very happy. They are a little noisier than the factory Dunlops, but nothing unbearable.
