Word has it that Ernie had 3 full dress, damascus folders at the SHOT Show in Las Vegas earlier this week priced at $3000 each. Does anyone know what the models were? Were they raffled? Did they sell? Anyone have scans? Thanks.

I was at Emerson's booth and caught a glimpse of what I believe was his 6 in full dress, damascus with MOP scales. Looked real nice... was too chicken to read the price tag

There were 3 full dress CQC-6's taken to the show. One was sold to the owner of Midwest Gun and Knife Exchange. The others went back into the safe. They are part of a special run of CQ's that were made for the Seki city outdoor knife show. They all have clip point blades due to Japanese regulations. They were priced at $3000. The vast majority of the attendees were there to aquire product for their wholesale/retail businesses so the damand for customs was not as great as it is elsewhere. We were concentrating mainly on the production end of things as well. I do not believe that the knives were taken out of the case more than once or twice a day.

hope this helps,
Derek

Chisel ground tantos aren't allowed in Japan? There are production CQC7-B's sold in Japan. Any pictures of the knives?

Thanks,

Jason
