Hey,
I wanted to share a recent piece that came out of our workshop and get some honest feedback from people who really understand folders and hand work.
This is a full-dressed folding knife built around a PM Damasteel blade, paired with titanium scales that were fully hand engraved. No laser, no shortcuts — everything you see on the handle was cut by hand under a microscope. The engraving theme mixes traditional Japanese motifs: dragon, koi, lotus, clouds and water elements. The idea was to make the engraving flow naturally with the knife’s lines, not just sit on top as decoration.

The blade is PM Damasteel with a clean, controlled pattern — sharp, functional geometry first, but still visually rich. The titanium scales were engraved, darkened, and selectively polished to give depth and contrast. Some elements are left matte, others brought up for highlights, so the whole scene changes depending on light and angle. Hardware is finished to match, without pulling attention away from the engraving.

I lack the words to describe how incredible this is! Thank you for sharing.

Lovely knife-minor criticism, and I may be alone in this, too many themes on the scales, and I have a koi pond!
