I just read anor thread where flat ground folders were discussed, and I realised a lot of us seem to lump sabre ground folders, like the Endura, which have flat primary edge grinds, together with full flat ground folders, like the Military.

OK, to clear the air...does anyone know of any FULL flat ground folders, production or custom? I know only 2 thus far:

Military
Lum Chinese

Spyderco lil'temperance
Strider AR/GB can both be had in full flat grind as well as the SNG if i'm not mistaken.
most SAKs I've seen have been full flat grind

Calypso & Jr.
Gerber Bolt Action (later reincarnated as the Meyerco Bolt Action)

SOG:
Flash series
Twitch series
Blink
Sculptura
Outdoor Mini Autoclip
Mini Gentleman

Now discontinued, but the Benchmade Leopard/Leopard Cub and Spike/Mini-Spike were both full flat grinds.

G10 Police (now discontinued)

I believe CRK still has a few flat ground BG 42 blades left that are been built into Sebenzas as they are ordered.

think the CRKs were sabre ground with a flat primary edge....

I have a Gerber Gator that has a drop-point full flat ground 154CM blade.

I think all or most of the Schrade Old Timer traditional folders (like the stockman) are flat-ground, but not their large lock-backs.

And Opinals are flat-ground also.

And as stated before:
Nearly all Victorinox and Wenger Swiss Army Knives.

Spyderco has (or had) several: Military, Lum Chinese, Salsa, Calypso, Calypso Jr., Dragonfly, Lil'Temperance, G-10 Police, and one of the Jess Horn models.

Camillus has several traditionals that are flat-ground, like the Marlin Spike folder.

And I think Case also makes flat-ground traditionals.

Heck, even the tiny blade on my Leatherman Squirt has a full flat grind.

Good luck,
Allen.
