I am looking for larger knives with a handle made mostly out of g-10 like the spyderco military. The only other knives I know about with g-10 frames are the cold steel american lawman and crkt drifter.

Are there other knives with full g-10 frames?

There are a LOT... Thing is... there is really no G10 "frame." Some companies will have a handle slab on the non locking side with no metal, but the Lock side is what I would consider the piece offering the major amount of rigidity, which I would call the "frame." The Strider SnG, the Spyderco Leafstorm come to mind. This term refers to the structrual part of the handle... usually SS or Ti. You're looking for G10 "handles." Kershaw has many many models that fit your criteria. BM has a few as well. Personally, I think Spyderco makes the best Productions in the sub $200 area. You are on the right track... Military or ParaMilitary are gonna be your best bet!

My DDR Maxx Q is sculpted G10 , with a nested titanium lock.

Meyerco makes a production version for under $50 , but I don't know if it's constructed the same way.

ontario rat one best value around 30 bucks great knife

The RAT 1 isn't made out of G10 it's made out of zytel scales with stainless steel liners. I should know, I own 7 of them. They're the best knives for the cheap price you're paying.

Todd Begg makes knives with G-10 FRAMES. He asked for G-10 frames, and not handles.

Yes this is what I meant. I know the spyderco military has nested liners; the reason I like full g-10 frames is because they are usually thinner and lighter than knives with scales and full liners. In my edc use, the additional strength from full liners is not worth the weight and bulk.

Kershaw skyline comes to mind.

doh, I even had one (gave to dad). Skyline is a great knife but I would like something bigger.

Thanks

I am really starting to warm up to the Ontario Rat 1 in black plain blade.. At first I wasn't crazy about this knife but now I really want one, seems like a solid good sized defense blade.

The Para-Military and Military are probably the closest, they both have only partial steel liners that are nested into the G-10. Boker has a new knife out that is based on the custom Burger knives that is all G-10 except for a Ti lock on one side of it. Also the Spyderco Urban and UKPK are both all G-10, no liners as far as I know, but they don't lock as well.

You don't want steel liners under the G-10? If that's acceptable, take a look at the Tyrade.

They aren't G-10, but the Al Mar Ultra Light series are worth a look. Scales are micarta, they are thin, light, well made knives.

Black Bear Knives makes an all G-10 handled folder with a recessed locking bar. Google them.
