Full inbox, paid for more, inbox still full

Hi. I received a notification that my inbox was full so I paid for another year of gold membership in order to free up my conversation limit. However, my inbox is still full and I can have no more conversations still. Wondering how to fix this or dodi needne refund the 30$ and I wil buy the next level up membership at $60 to increase my limit?

Why not just delete some of the conversations?
