Hello everyone!
I want to share with you the full integral forged fighter that i made in this WIP: https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/wip-full-integral-fighter.1881102/
It is a fighter forged in 52100 steel, with and integral guard and a tappered full tang.
The scales are made from olive wood and the pined pins are copper.
The sheath is made from natural cow leather with a ball hammered texture.

I hope you enjoy it.

Best regards.

What finish did you use on the handle?
Beautiful piece, very unique looking!

That's a beauty!
Thanks!

I use a mix of bees wax, liquid vaseline and boiled linsed oil. The result is like a dense cream.
Before the aplication of this mix, I polish the handle with polishing paste. Then I aply the mix all over the handle and then, rub it by hand with a piece of cloth.
I hope you understand the process.

You're welcome
Great handle. Tough to find good olive around here.
The tree log under the knife in the pictures is the same wood. I got it from a friend woodworker, not from a dealer. By the way, I didn't find a single dealer who sell a piece of olive wood like this, at least here in Argentina.

I do like it. Very much! Forged integral. Tapered tang. All around lovely.
