Get outside tonight and forge a blade. It will be a great night for it. I think I may finally be up for forging something. Think I'll get my neighbor to help me get set up in the pasture.

If I can find my friggin camera I'll take a few pics of the moon and what be forged :)

Feel free to post pics of your own full moon forging and what you forge.

Sounds like a great plan Mark . That moon was Big & Beautiful last night eh ? Looks like it could be a little cloudy tonight though.

Sounds like fun. Maybe I'll spend the full moon building a forge.....seeing as how I knocked mine over saturday and it exploded:grumpy: Just bought a new anvil too (just a harbor freight 110 lb) and haven't got to use it.
Guess I ought to get some stuff ordered from Darren and start trying to find a new gauge for my regulator.

Hadnt thought of that. I can forge outside nekkid now :)

Mark, Just don't get that little poker to close the the forge. Glad to hear you feeling good enough to do some forging!

Ray said it for me, Mark! Around here you would wear coveralls to keep the damn yellow jackets off of you. Never seen 'em like this before! Remind me to tell you about me, a can of Budweiser, and a yellow jacket ! ---Sandy---

Let's hear it Sandy! Surely the little guy wasn't IN the can when you took a big gulp?

Mark, that neighbor or yours just might get a little nervous if you knock on his (her?) door nekkid asking for help! Be sure and take a photo of his (her?) reaction as you're running bass-ackwards!

i had a coworker on a construction job that went to use an old out house and when he sat down a yellow jacket got him right on the little poker as Raymond Richard would call it. lets just say he did not have a very good rest of the day

Supposedly it's going to be a bad Winter according to the locals. They said usually the yellow-jackets will be nesting in the trees . They all seem to be underground this year.

Never did get to do any forging, nekkid or otherwise. I forgot that I didnt bother hauling my anvil stand (stump) down here with me. Something else I need to get done. Bad backs just plain suck. :(

Take care of that back, Mark.
I have had a lousy back for a long time ('71).
Most of the time it's good, but then I bend it just the wrong way, and I'm not able to stand up straight.
Was looking forward to the moonlight forging (rated PG) pics, but your back is more important.

Yep, Robert! Sho nuff! That 'lil yeller striped scudder nailed me on the tip of my tongue. By the time I got to the ER and a Doc pumped me full of Benadryl and Epenephrin my tongue had almost completely filled the available space in my mouth. Now my hair is white!!!!
