Flawless! Hope you don't mind if I use one of those photos as my new wallpaper. What grit are you finishing with to get that mirror polish?

Amazing. That edge is intoxicating to look at. And I'm not just saying that because I'm intoxicated.

No kidding man! Do you have the Hi Rez versions of those photos???? I have a big screen ;)

That is beautiful! Very nice work you do. I bet if they were offered for sale like that in the RMD and HRLM, SwampRat would sell a ton of them. :thumbup:

:eek::eek::eek:

That saber grind is still PERFECT! Awesome job as usual Nate!!! Has Ban been teaching you the tricks of the trade, or has it been trial and error? Sometimes I can't tell the difference between his work and yours.

Holy Crap that is awesome!!!! I'm pretty sure if the Rat Store offered the RMD like this that they would sell a bazillion of them. Don't you think Eric?:D

In the meantime, I guess we'll have to settle for sending them out for the treatment. That is one beautiful knife. Thanks for sharing the pics.

I already have two RMD's but would definitely buy one with a finished blade like this one. Good work!

very,very nice!!!!

Thanks Chicken. Be sure to post up some picks of your new BT4 in Bans forum.

Dont mind at all. The polish is achieved with a leather belt loaded with green compound.

Most of it has been trial and error. But Ban has taught me alot. Takes a steady hand to pull off that saber.

They would be alot more expensive.

That looks great. What do you use to satinize the blade with? I am waiting on a partially stripped Battle Rat right now and want to try to put a decent looking if not professional satin on it. That convex bevel is as wicked as they come also. Sweet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, Nate, but I think my RMD was the first one you satin-finished. You certainly haven't lost your touch. :thumbup: :thumbup: :D

Beautiful work! I totally spaced out about our emails but I need to send you my ratweiler and swamp warden ASAP!

YEEEEOWW! That looks ridiculously good! I love the aesthetic, especially with your skill, but i like the practicality of the coating just for the sake of stain resistance. The convex edge, on the other hand, is absolute perfection -- I can't wait to see the edges on my Waki and RMD!
