Freshly forged full tang axe.
It is made of 5160 with a thickness of 10 mm
It is 40 cm long, with an edge of 8 cm.
From spike to edge it measures 19 cm
The full weight is 1250 grams

Very nice! I'm currently trying to make a hatchet along those lines by upsetting the end of a leaf spring till it's wide enough for a modest sized head. What were the dimensions of the stock you started with? (If you don't mind me asking)

My original piece was 10 cm wide, 11 cm thick and around 1.5 meter long.
 
I have two full tang axes made by Hellize and can only say good things. They are TOUGH!!!! And I wouldn’t mind to have a third one like exactly like that!

You’ve made me some of the toughest, more beautiful and favorite sharp things that I proudly own. Nothing that comes from my crazy mind its too difficult or too crazy for you to make me, my friend! Others would say it can’t be done, but your expertise, skills and way above average intelligence allows you to make everything so well! If you lived in US, you would no doubt be a great Forged in Fire champion!

Others would say it can’t be done, but your expertise, skills and way above average intelligence allows you to make everything so well! They are quite an exaggeration of course, especially the intelligence part (took the test and lets just say that I won't be seated at the mensa with the Mensa😅 ), but the crazy part, I'm afraid is true. Actually that could be the credo of my life, if I think about it. Always doing something, which everyone warns against. Yeah, I'm definitely crazy.
Anyway, I am really happy to know that you are so fond of those steels. May they serve you for a loooong time, my friend!
