Here's a last minute hunter I finished to take to Blade. It's a little bit different than my normal hunters. This is quite stout. It's really a heavy duty knife. It's balanced nicely though with a full distal taper and a drastically tapered tang.

I think the scales are really unique. They're naturally colored box elder burl. No dye whatsoever on them. It's a very vivid red/orange color. The blade and tang have a mustard finish.

Specs:
Hand forged from 1075 steel with mustard finish
8" overall, 3 3/4" blade, .235" at the front of the scales with full distal taper
Rounded spine
Rounded filed thumb grip
Tapered tang, tapered down to .040" thick
Stabilized, naturally colored box elder burl scales

I like it, and i appreciate the way the burl gets balanced by the mustard finish, giving it a flowing continuity
