ki Hey guysI have this full tang integral laser gyuto with red malley burr handle and red micarta liners
Hand forged from 1" round silver steel BS1407 steel,a very high carbon low alloy steel similar to spicy white 26c3,fine grained that gets super sharp,hardened and tested to HRC 62

Handle length 115 mm
Blade height at heel 50 mm
Thickness at spine above heel 2.4mm
Thickness halfway down spine 1.75mm
Spine 1cm from tip 0.7mm
1cm above edge at heel 1mm tapering to 0.6mm near tip
Edge taken to near zero then convexed,
Edge 15dps sharpened to 6000 grit
Tang is 2.2mm tapering to 1.3mm at butt of handle
Weight 220 grams
Balance point right at pinch point where blade meets bolster
The tapered tang and buttress bolster makes it light and balanced yet feels solid
Hand sanded blade to 600 grit and spine,tang and bolster to 2000 grit
Comes with a maple saya with turned brass pin(pin not in picture)
