full titanium knife (fixed or folder everything Ti even the blade)

Correct me if I am wrong but from the research I did before I got into knives (as much as I am now anyway) titanium wasn't too great of a metal to make a blade out of.

Mission uses Beta heat treated titanium. It's RH is around 47. But for titanium that is pretty good. Edge holding as far as my use shows, is comparable to old 440C. Not as good as any of the new super steels, but still usable.

There are three heat treats for titanium, according to Mission.
1. Alpha
2. Alpha Beta
3. Beta.

Beta is the hardest of them.

Benchmade also had a Ernie Emerson knife, chisel ground tanto, that had a titanium blade with a carbide cutting edge. Funny that Blade HQ still lists it, but shows out of stock.

There is a scuba diving model from Fox Knives, full titanium fixed blade. Or is it extrema ratio? In Argentina about U$D200, so it must be USD100 or so in USA.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Warren Thomas.

Charlie mike beat me to it, but Warren Thomas outside of the old mission stuff has it dialed in better than anyone else BR none.

I'll be buying a Mission tanto folder next month.
