I never thought I'd do it...I got a fully-serrated version of my (for the past couple years) favorite knife the Delica. I've actually found it to be an excellent all-around utility blade for many chores. While I don't think it would work well for precese whittling or working on fish, etc., like the plainedge would, I've found some smoothe cutting is possible just the same.
I decided against the 50/50 version, so I'd have the best of each version with both my Delicas.
I'm mostly a plainedge guy, but I'm glad I got this knife!
Oh, BTW, Sal, a question: when sharpening serrations, do you still keep a steady pressure throughout, or take off some pressure to keep from rounding off the serrated tips? Stupid question, but I've never sharpened serrations yet (and don't think I'll have to for some time yet).
Thanx. Jim
