Fully serrated folder, not spyderco

Looking for a good fully serrated knife. Blade length under 3.5" (prefer closer to 3"). Have nothing against Spyderco, but need a knife without hole in the blade, because my spydie gets jammed in the material that I cut, because of the hole.

What are my options?

Cold steel voyager series but i would imagine a thumbstud could get stuck just as easy !

Thumbstud is not a problem, because it will not go into the material, so it won't get stuck there.

Voyager is a bit too long for me. I also don't really like it.

Not too many companies offer a fully serrated blade . The Emerson hardwear folders come with a serrated edge but also have a hole for deployment !

I though about SAK, leatherman and such, but don't really want a multitool and hope to find a single blade that will fit my needs.

Hmmm... I would also consider a combo edge with serrated portion longer than usual, though much prefer sully serrated.

Myerchin might have something suitable...

Thanks a lot. I never heard of Myerchin before, but it looks like I might be able to find something there.

Edit: After a closer look, Myerchin will not work for me, because most models come with spike that I have no use for and models without spike have quite short serrated blades. Will keep looking.

There are fully serrated Vics and Wengers, but they may all have holes.

Someone like Brad Fairall, or others may be able to custom a single blade for around $100.00

I may be wrong about this, but there are many solid and innovative guys on BF.

if you have no use for the spike just don't use it ...

2.8" blade, Zytel handle -> weight 5.2 Oz . I don't have obsessions with weight limit, but I'd rather not have the spike that I won't use. Spike might also look a bit threatening to the city folks, even if it is never used.

My first thought for full-serration was Spyderco, then some kind of rigging knife. Unfortunately for your criteria, most rigging knives will have the marlin spike, but you never know.

Good luck! :)

You are the one asking for a suggestion here. If it is something super secret why even ask in a public forum?

I'm asking a suggestion for a knife that fits my criteria rather than how to change the way I cut things. I just don't want the topic to go that route.

im curious as to how something you're cutting can get caught in the hole and jam the blade

it might.

3.0"-3.5" blade, fully serrated without a hole is a tough criteria. is a pointed blade a must?

I can even have a hole, just not as big as on spydero. Byrds I think are also a bit too big. Full spyderedge with thumbstuds would've been perfect :(
I would prefer pointed, but will be fine with rescue type blade.

Interesting, will consider it. A tiny bit too tactical, but might do.
