Hello! First post here!

I have owned a Cold Steel Voyager Lrg Clip Point VG-1 Ser. Knife (fully serrated) for several years.
Rules Violation removed.
I cut a lot of rope and boxes st work and I love a large fully serrated blade with a pocket clip.

Mine was recently lost (I suspect stolen) and I want to replace it. I was thinking about getting the same knife but I was wondering if there were other similar fully serrated folding knives that you would recommend (I don't particularly care for Spyderco, nothing personal; I just don't care for them).

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Bladeforums. For a fully serrated option, there really is nothing out there aside from the little steak knife serrations that Cold Steel offers. Although you are not considering Spyderco, they do offer many models with full serrations. Is there a reason you don't like Spyderco?

Probably hasn't tried them yet. I thought they were hideous until I had a chance to use one, now a manix 2 is my main edc. I'm not a fan of serrated blades myself but I've heard great things about spyderco's serrations.

You can get the Vaquero Voyagers fully serrated - $38-40 for the large one. The plain edge one works so good for boxes and rope I'd bet the serrated is a demon.

I felt the same way, I ended up with a SE Paramilitary. I was very impressed when I saw that it would stay sharp through hundreds of cuts through cardboard, plastic, and nylon frieght straps. I think everyone should have at least one good fully serrated knife. They do come in handy when one least expects it.

I would give CS serrations advantage rope - Spyderco serrations advantage cardboard.

My Paramilitary that I had was also serrated and scary to touch. I could push cut most of the things with it.

Aside from Spyderco and a few Cold Steel models, I don't know of too many companies that make full SE folders. The Spydercos are fantastic, but if you're looking for something different, maybe look at a few offerings from Victorinox. Not a full SE blade but having the serration run towards the tip makes for an excellent cutter.

Good luck! :)

After Spyderco serrattions, my favor come to ZT... But there is no full serrated model.
CS are in the third position, very effective combinated with "S" shape of the vaquero grande.
Take also a look to the mini tuff, it is a wonderful cutter.

One of my favorite knives is a Spyderco Stretch SE... fantastic!! BTW.. you can send just about any knife in to Spyderco to ground to a spyder-edge for a small fee. I'm thinking about sending in a P2 and Military.. would love to have those.
