Would anyone know if such a Leek design has ever been, or will be offered? I am aware of their being partially serrated models in circulation, but would like to know if a full version has ever been attempted.

I dont think a full serrated leek has ever been offered. That's not to say Kershaw hasn't experimented with one.

I do own the Kershaw fully serrated folder, dunno much info about it and I bought it about 14 years ago $50 from a snap-on truck, can you tell me more about this knife, thanks.

Can you send me a pic? I would love to see it! If you can't post pics here, you can click on my name and send me an email with the pic and I can post it here for you. Thanks!

Does that knife have a round rubberish handle with finger grooves, but is a folder? My grandfather used to be a mechanic (50+ years) and bought a timberline knife off of them as well as, if im not mistaken, a kershaw.

Manix, there was never a fully serrated Leek produced, which is surprising.

Suzuki, it sounds like you describing our Blackhorse folder, model 1060. It has been in the line-up for sometime now.

That's the knife I have and I am at work now, I will post the pic sometime tonight.

Thomas,

I completely understand what a busy year Kershaw/Kai has ahead with all the new products coming out, and am frankly very excited with some of the items in the pipeline. Therefore, as opposed to suggesting their being a fully serrated leek, (which is probably just going to add to the company's very busy workload) would it be possible for individuals to send in their leeks and have serrations placed on them? Bear with me if what I'm saying is not feasible or is as time-consuming as producing this variant from scracth, I just thought the prospect of being able to "upgrade" your leek might be an interesting alternative for those of us craving the serrations :D .

This is the pic, is it a good knife and what type of steel? I cannot find any info on the net.
