I’m considering a fully serrated Wharncliffe blade. What’s the difference between the RockJumper and the Delica? Any reason to choose one over the other?

There is a long discussion comparing the RockJumper with the Delica and Endura in KnifeCenter's description of the RockJumper.

I do not have a Delica, but I have a Salt 2 wharnie, which I think is the same basic handle as the Delica. I have SE Rockjumper.

I think the main difference between the 2, is the handle. the Rockjumper fills the hand amazingly well. My hand feels relaxed. Salt 2 being quite a bit smaller in the handle, requires that I pay attention to holding on to it. I wear XL gloves, for reference.

I honestly like VG-10 more than LC. Having had VG-10 from the 90's, I've never seen it rust. I feel like VG-10 holds an edge a little better and sharpens faster and easier on the Sharpmaker. I have no experience with SE LC, but I do know that SE VG-10 is amazing in that the serrations protect the valleys from wear and you can really shred through tough material recklessly. I've never had it chip, but roll a bit and be easy to clean up. Now I don't know why I wen toff on the 2 steels, since you did not ask, but I'll leave it anyway...

Back to Delica vs Rockjumper...I'd go with Rockjumper if you are looking for a workhorse. Delica if you are looking for lightweight slicey.

Delica and RockJumper are different in size.
RJ is bigger but not too big in hand

RockJumper has extremely smooth action right out of the box

Both come in VG10...
Delica is smaller and a winner for EDC.

RJ-Delica.... hard to choose
